U16 started 2018 with a bad home lost on Sunday. This was a game we should have won, but I believe the guys underestimated their opponents. In sports it does not matter how many wins a team have or what place their are in, you still have to play hard every game.
From the start we did not have the energy or focus it takes to win games. We started slow and was not able to get any fast break points. The defense was bad and we starting getting foul from playing bad defense.
In the 4th quarter we started to play harder and better but it was too late. We still have a lot of work to do and I am sure the guys will do better next time. We will have a good practice this week and be ready on Saturday for the next game.
