H1 play Saturday in Bonn

The men will head Saturday to Bonn for another tough game. Coming off a close home lost to Salzkotten, the men look to get a win against a very young, but very well coached Bonn team. Tip off is Saturday 16:30 in Bonn (Ausbildungzentrum Feld 1).

Bonn has not won a game on the season, but they are still a dangerous team. They play aggressive full court defense and try to speed teams up. On offense they like to play fast the whole. They have a really good center Keith Sherrill and they have him surround by very good shooters. They improve each game and will be a very difficult game for us.

We like always have to take care of the basketball. Their defense force a lot of turnovers, so we have to handle the pressure the whole game. We have to do a better job rebounding the ball. Giving up 24 offensive rebounds against Salzkotten, we can not afford to do this with Bonn if we want a chance to win the game.

We will have a good week of practice and will be ready on Saturday. Team Captain Thorben will not play as he will have season ending surgery this week. We wish him all the best
