U18 gewinnt in Breckerfeld

After going through 2 consecutive defeats, Haspe 70 U18 finally managed to get their first win of the season in the away match against TuS Breckerfeld last Sunday with a final score of 68:73.

In the first quarter both teams played very intensely. Point after point was scored by both teams with fast attacks. However, the yellow and blue were a little careless in defense, causing them to lose points to their opponents. As a result, the score was 15:13 in favor of the host TuS Breckerfeld.

In the second quarter, the Hageners played full defense and managed to make the opponent turn over several times. However, many opportunities that should have been converted into points failed to be exploited. in that quarter TuS Breckerfeld managed to score 17 points and SV70 with 19 points. Final score in the first half 32:32 for both teams.

At the start of the third quarter, the SV70 boys were under pressure when they were 7 points behind their opponents. However, coach Mahmut took a time out and made adjustments to the defense. This made Haspe 70 ahead with a score of 51:49 at the end of the 3rd quarter.

In the deciding quarter, through team work between players Jan, Niklas, Paul, Lukas, and Beni managed to maintain their lead over TuS Breckerfeld until time ended with a final score of 68:73.
